Objective: Design a tablet application for UCLA Medical Center residents to be evaluated by their directors.
The UCLA Medical Center currently uses an antiquated evaluation system for their resident doctors. They use paper forms to evaluate them on six different core competencies, which break down into twenty-three sub-competencies, with several milestones within those. This system is very complex and the residents often do not understand their scores. For this reason, the resident directors of UCLA MC asked us to design a tablet application to expedite and simplify the evaluation and review process.
